Arrived in Koh Toa on monday, after a long overnight bus which arrived slightly early at the port of Chumporn at 0400. So we were sleepily led into the building of the travel agents where we all slept on the floor. Boat over the island next day and arrived to the white sands and palm trees. Found a little hut near the beach and booked to go diving around the island for three days. Awesome diving, lots of beautiful fish and coral to see, although visibility not as great as hoped, but still all very cool. Loads of typical backpacker bars and restuarants along the beach, with low tables and cushions looking out over the water. So very relaxing couple of days.

Now back in Bangkok to catch connecting bus onto Angkor Wat!!

PS It's currently raining hard outside!

Safely arrived in Thailand. All very hot, humid and sweaty and a bit smelly. So we decided to spend our first year anniversary at the Raffles hotel in Bangkok, which was very decadent!

We now plan to go on and do some diving down at Koh Tao then on to Angkor Wat in Cambodia. lol

Well the house is all packed up, bags are nearly packed up, anti-malarials have been started and only a few more tearful goodbyes to be made.


Many thanks to all the wonderful people who made it to our leaving do, Sarah and I really appreciated it, especially those who travelled from so far! But lots of love to the equally wonderful people who couldn't make it, you were all missed!!

Now hopefully this will work, and we can use this to keep you up to date with all our news. If the photos all look wonderfully exotic and sunny and you read it whilst busy at work, remember that the photos may well have been taken inbetween particularly violent bouts of traveller's diarrhoea and mosquito swarms of biblical proportions. However, we may also be whooping it up big style.
