The Kiwis have a bank holiday for the Queens birthday here!! the funny thing is that the day they have off is not even the official birthday of our Queen! we didnt mind having a long weekend though!
Karangaheke gorge is an area that used to be a prolific gold mining area - there is an old railway bridge and tunnel to walk through, or stumble through more like!
